Post statically linked binary for Linux?

Apparently the Linux binaries are awfully specific to a single version of a single distribution. Is there any possiblity that you could post a statically linked binary so that it would be usable on (for example) RedHat or even just a different release of Ubuntu? That's assuming, of course, that you don't want to post the source code so we can just build it ourselves...

The Linux binary is statically linked with most of the libraries. I'll look at what I can do for you.

If there's any libraries in particular that are bothersome, please let me know.
