Wordstar basically didn't care what your file name extensions were... it loaded Wordstar files.
WordTsar does care, and it can make quite a difference:
.ws, .ws1, .ws2, .ws3, .ws4, .ws5, .ws6, .ws7 are loaded and saved as Wordstar document files
.rtf is loaded and saved as Rich Text Format documents (pretty basic stuff for now)
all other file types are treated as text files, so the loader doesn't know about the Wordstar sequences neccesary to do anything.
